I downloaded an Arabic AutoCAD Font (SHX) to see if that would make any difference, no joy there.

Have tried Plotting via Windows Drivers and Heidi Drivers to different output devices, results are the same is like the Text is Mirrored + Separated.
When I Plot "ArabicFont_2000" I get the same results that you describe The Zoom issue/problem I think is just a display issue/problem (easy for me to say as I don't have to work with such drawing files) as when you again Zoom Extents/All the Arabic Text Characters are correctly displayed. PC No 2 - I then Open drawing file "ArabicFont_2000" within AutoCAD 2002, the Arabic Text Characters are displayed correctly - this I would expect as PC No 2 has Arabic Language installed. I SaveAs release 2000 Format "ArabicFont_2000". PC No 1 - I Open drawing file "ArabicFont" within AutoCAD 2004, the Arabic Text Characters are displayed incorrectly - this I would expect as PC No 1 hasn't Arabic Language Support installed.
